you are still God Tammi dryden · April 23, 2015 One of my favorite songs...fit with a favorite design."All of my life, in every season, YOU ARE STILL GOD,I have a reason to sing, I have a reason to worship." Just because He is God, because He is holy, good, just. Our defender, shepherd, father, redeemer. Our king, provider, healer. Fortress, creator, comforter, the beginning, our righteousness AND SO MUCH MORE! Because He is all these things, in every season, I have a reason to sing. To worship Him and give Him praise. My friend, circumstances may change, BUT HE NEVER DOES!
love story Tammi dryden · April 23, 2015 Marriage is hard. But it is also beautiful and refining and fun! It's so important to learn to embrace the story God gave your marriage- even with the struggles, pain and imperfection. No one else has your story! God wants to use your marriage, your story to show Himself. That is a gift! Let's not miss out on that gift because we look around and think someone else's marriage/story is better. Or more spiritual or more...fill in the blank. If you struggle to embrace your marriage story, ask God to help you.
hope and stay Tammi dryden · April 23, 2015 When we truly let go and let God lead, we can feel like we're in the sea of life getting tossed and turned. Sometimes we can't see land, we don't know where God is leading. The things we knew are no longer steady. But there is One who is.This is the place He wants us. Where He then is all we have-- the only place we can trust. Our hope. The only place to set our anchor. Our stay. When you find this place, you find Him in a way you never knew. Let the boat rock. Don't try to take control and steady it. Stop striving. Call on Him to be your hope and stay! He is ever constant--unchanging-- and we can confidently set our souls on that!! Hebrews 6:19
redefining beautiful Tammi dryden · April 22, 2015 Today as I was photographing new designs, I couldn't help but notice how beautiful these dried roses were.It struck me that many times we feel dried up spiritually. We may feel like we're at the end. We feel spiritually ugly- useless. But God, in the midst of those feelings, is constant. In the midst of the shriveled up parts of our hearts, is still doing His work. He is still doing what He is the Master at--taking the parts that have died and bringing beauty. Redefining beautiful.Lord, give us a glimpse of the beauty You are creating out of our shriveled places as we put them in your Master hands.
